About Me

I grew up in Dallas, Texas, and cofounded Awesome Power Inc., a startup that uses a person’s smart meter electricity usage data to find the cheapest electricity plan for a person’s home.

I went to the University of Edinburgh, where I studied law and graduated with the highest marks in my class, and spent my third year abroad at the University of Hong Kong. I also have a master's in law and finance from the University of Oxford. My academic interests include tax law, international economic law, sovereign debt restructuring, and international financial regulation.

In addition to my educational background in law and finance, I am a programmer. My main language is Python, but I also know SQL and JavaScript, and am learning Rust. Most of my programming skills relate to data analysis in some way.

I am currently living in Oslo, and am looking for a job here. Just in case anyone wants to hire me, or can help me find a job here, here's my CV. If you want to contact me, the best way to reach me is on Twitter @ZackKorman.
