There is very little to say here. The Federal Reserve does this thing where each member of the FOMC states where they think rates should be at certain points in the future, and then the Fed plots them into the "dot plot". I find it kind of useless, but I tend to think way too much effort goes into speculating about future interest rate changes. Nonetheless, I wanted to make the Fed's dot plot, but show it over time. So, I scraped the Fed's website for the data and I figured out how to plot it. Turns out it is called a beeswarm plot.
Kind of boring, isn't it?
